ABOUT THE IMAGE: While hiking the Coastal Trail in Northern California, I found myself in this beautiful spot on the beach. I had hiked all day long and had started looking for the perfect place to set up camp. I found some dry sand above the high tide zone and walked down to this spot with my camera to catch the gentle crashing of waves on these rocks. Only the left rock was making the deep thunderous sound. The waves slipped on by the right one of the two rocks. Do you see the jagged rock formation jetting up in the top right corner? Just a few minutes earlier, I was hiking down the coastline and had to cross over that while heading south in Humboldt County to this hidden beach. This image perfectly represents what I felt that evening at my campsite after a huge day of exploring. I think you can almost hear the thud of that wave hitting the rock and feel the cooling of the air with the sun setting on the horizon. SHIPPING: If you are able to purchase this finely crafted, original art work, I have implemented and fine-tuned a process that protects your art from damage during shipping. I place your canvas in a protective poly-bag that protects the printed surface of your artwork. This bag is then attached to the inside wall of the shipping box to prevent any movement while in transit. It may take a little longer for you to open your package, but, by using this method, the vast majority of my canvases arrive unharmed.
